Hi, I am Sumin Lee

As a recent graduate of the University of Virginia, I focused on sharpening my quantitative and analytical skills while majoring in Biology, solving complex scientific problems. My expertise extends to real-world data analysis, where I advise businesses using tools like Excel and SQL. I've successfully implemented data-driven strategies, consistently achieving positive outcomes.

My experience extends beyond biology, as I delved into technology with projects ranging from websites to web applications development, using Javascript, HTML, and CSS. With a keen interest in technology and problem-solving, I took multiple computer science courses to deepen my skills. A creative problem solver, I aim to leverage data analytics and software development to drive business performance and strategic decision-making, drawing on extensive presentation and teamwork skills honed through real-world problem-solving and research experiences.

Outside academia and work, I find fulfillment in serving my local community by mentoring youth. I offer vocal and guitar lessons to low-income students, encouraging confidence in their approach to life. Mentoring extends to advising on academic, social, and personal challenges. Having lived in Korea, India, and the US, I've cultivated a global perspective and developed a cross-cultural background, aspiring to be a global thinker throughout my career. Beyond professional pursuits, I enjoy watching and playing basketball, embracing an active outdoor lifestyle.
